After dining at many of the D&D restaurants throughout London, I'm never disappointed at Le Pont de la Tour. As we arrived early we were invited to take drinks in the bar, where a very talented singer and pianist, kept all the guests in high spirits.

Very pleasant background music was provided by Katrina, the resident pianist/singer whose sophisticated repertoire was in the genre of the late, great Blossom Dearie.

A really good relaxed evening - there was a good buzzy atmosphere greatly helped by the pianist / singer (?Katerina). Service and food were first rate. There is an added bonus to eating in the La Pont de la Tour Bar and Grill (not restaurant) during January and February (not 14th) as wine by the bottle is at retail places. We haven't eaten at La Pont de la Tour Bar and Grill for some time and we were happy to see it maintaining its standards.

Really liked La Pont De La Tour - the ambience was great, the food was nice. The piano & singer gave it a really good feel.

We had dinner in the Oyster Bar wanting a more relaxed yet buzzy ambiance. Our initial table was uncomfortable and awkwardly located in a narrow throughfare, but once we were reseated at the bar everything was wonderful. Service was excellent and very attentive, food was excellent amd we were impressed by the versatility and Diana Krall-like voice of the pianist. Highly recommend the Oyster Bar for a special meal or a relaxed night out.

Some of the UK's greatest jazz artists are playing their tunes during the live music sessions, and if you are a real jazz fan, you could be in for a treat with the likes of Oliver Moriarty, Katerina, Rod Melvin and Johnny Miller as they are all playing live on a regular basis.
